CTL Container Transport Logistik GmbH was founded in 1984 as a subsidiary of M&S Mehrtens & Schwickerath GmbH. Like M&S, CTL is also an owner-managed company. We are a member of Verein Bremer Spediteure e. V. and DSLV Bundesverband Spedition und Logistik e. V.
Initially, CTL was primarily active as a service provider in the field of container logistics for various shipping companies. CTL was also responsible for container control and transport coordination throughout Europe.
In order to meet the requirements of the industry and global trade, CTL soon expanded its activities to include the following areas:

- Project cargo handling
- Customs clearance
- Distribution
